I was out on a service call for a total signal loss, and the guy swore his golden retriever, Buddy, had gnawed through the cable in the backyard. The cut was way too clean and right at the entry point to the house, no teeth marks at all. It hit different because he kept a straight face the whole time, and I realized he probably messed up his own install and was too embarrassed to say. Anyone ever had a customer try to blame an animal for their DIY disaster?

Okay but "too clean" doesn't mean it wasn't the dog. My cousin's lab can make a cut look like it was done with scissors, it's wild. Some dogs are just neat freaks.

Actually, poodles are known for being really neat about how they tear things up. The Fiona is right about some dogs having that weird skill. It's like they have built in scissors or something.
