Had to pick between fish tape or glow rods for a tricky basement pull yesterday

I went with the glow rods cause the conduit had three 90s and I figured fish tape would just snag every time. Took me 45 minutes to wrestle the coax through anyway, has anyone found a trick for these tight bends?

Three 90s and 45 minutes" sounds like a date night I'd ghost on. Seriously though, glow rods are the right call for that. Fish tape would just start a new religion in there with all the snagging. Next time try lubing the pull with some dish soap or a proper cable lube. Helps on the tight ones. Or just accept it's gonna suck and bring a snack.

Tried that exact mess a few months back pulling Cat6 through a conduit with three 90s. What finally saved me was using a shop vac and a plastic bag. Tied a grocery bag to the end of the string, sucked it through with the vac. Took maybe ten minutes. Then taped the cable to the string and pulled it back with a little dish soap. Worked way better than wrestling with rods for an hour in a crawlspace.
