I posted a defense of a comedian's old joke on a local Facebook group and got 200 comments overnight.
I just argued that context matters for a 2012 bit, and people actually started debating the intent versus the impact. Has anyone else seen a small online argument turn into a real discussion?

My buddy got into a huge thread about a 2010 movie quote last week. It was wild how many people had strong opinions on something that old.

Man, that sounds exhausting. Did you at least get some good points in before you had to step away from the phone? I once made a simple comment on a ten year old music video and came back to a novel's worth of replies. It's crazy how these things take off.
