Got deplatformed from a local contractor review site for telling the truth about a job in Phoenix last March
I posted a review about a roofer named Mike who left a leaky patch job on my neighbor's house for $2,800. The site flagged it as 'unverified' and banned me after the roofer complained. They never once asked me for proof of the photos I had. Has anyone else had a review get nuked just because the business complained first?

Deplatformed just for telling the truth about a bad job? That's wild. I've seen contractors get review sites to take down negative posts before, but banning the reviewer entirely feels like something out of a bad dream. They should have at least asked for your photos before siding with the roofer.

laura, right?? Its insane how these platforms just flip the switch on people without even looking at the evidence. I had the same thing happen with a moving company that left dents all over my furniture. Posted pics of the damage and everything, still got my review taken down because the company claimed I was "harassing" them. Now I just take my money elsewhere and tell everyone I know in person to avoid them. The whole system feels rigged for businesses who know how to play the game.
