I visited the dollar store canned aisle and everyone's sleeping on the generic chili
People always grab the name brands like Wolf or Hormel, but I picked up the store brand chili for $1.25 a can last Tuesday and it was actually thicker and had more meat chunks. Am I the only one who thinks the fancy labels are just a rip-off?

Right there with you on the generic chili. Picked up a can of the Great Value stuff last month and was shocked. Way more meat than the Hormel I usually get. Saved a buck fifty and got a better dinner.

Great Value chili does have more meat but it's actually Walmart's brand, not Kirkland.

Buddy tried Kirkland chili and swore off name brands for good.
