A customer told me my seams were too tight and I argued with him at first

Had this job last month in Naperville where the homeowner kept watching me work. He pointed out I was pulling the two pieces together too hard and said I'd get curling later. I was pretty annoyed cause I've been doing it that way for years. But I left one seam a bit looser on purpose and sure enough three weeks later the tight one was already peeking up. Changed how I do all my seams now. Anyone else have a customer call something out that turned out to be right?

And that's the thing, sometimes the customer sees stuff we've been blind to for years just cause we're in our own routine.

Oh man, you're telling me. I once spent three months looking at a report every single day before a customer casually pointed out my name was spelled wrong in the header. Guess I was just too busy admiring my own genius to notice.
