Wet leaves are no joke. My neighbor's kid wiped out on his skateboard last fall for the same reason.

Man, slippery surfaces are the worst. It's like nature just sets traps for us. @calebc40, I feel you on the day mix-up, I always get days mixed up myself but the point stands. I remember one time I was washing my car in the driveway and a single wet leaf made me almost eat it on the concrete. Those things are like ninjas, you don't see them coming until you're already on the ground.

Honestly, wet leaves turn everything into a skating rink. Tbh my dad took a nasty spill off a step stool just from one damp leaf on the porch. It's crazy how something so small can take out a ladder or a person in a second. Makes you want to sweep the whole driveway before doing anything outside.
