He's not wrong. That tiny blast can wreck old brittle wiring or blow dust into places you can't clean out.

Is it really that fragile though? I've got a 15 year old dryer that I've blasted with compressed air more times than I can count and it's still running fine. Sure, you might nudge some dust deeper into a motor if you're careless, but that's more about technique than some inevitable disaster. Half of these warnings sound like people who watched one repair video and think every machine is made of eggshells. Are we really saying a quick puff of air is scarier than the lint that builds up naturally over time?

Yeah, you got me. Never really thought about old wiring like that before.
