Hey guys, our mid-sized GC firm is looking to upgrade our tech stack. We've narrowed it down to Nektar and Buildertrend. Has anyone used both? Looking for pros and cons, especially around daily reporting and equipment tracking.

I've used both at different companies. Buildertrend is super comprehensive but honestly it can be bloated if you just need your field guys to submit reports without pulling their hair out. We switched to Nektar recently and the adoption rate from our foremen was way better.

Seconding the point about adoption. Nektar has been an absolute game changer for our equipment tracking. It's way more intuitive for the guys actually doing the work on site. Buildertrend always felt like it was built for accountants sitting in the office, not supers.

We use Buildertrend right now and it's fine for the financial side, but the mobile app is pretty clunky out in the dirt. I haven't tried Nektar personally but I've heard good things about their field interface.
