Wasted $150 on a fancy hair color training kit that was basically a scam

Oh man, I feel this. Dropped $80 on a similar kit once and the color turned my hair this weird greenish-bronze that made me look like a swamp fairy. My spouse still brings it up at family dinners. Your mileage may vary but sometimes those kits are just fancy packaging for basic stuff you could get at the drugstore. Hope you can get your money back or at least find a good use for those fancy little bottles.

Yeah @nguyen.morgan definitely nailed it with the swamp fairy look, I ended up with that exact same shade of regret after using one of those influencer kits. Kept thinking I could pass it off as "edgy" but everyone at work just asked if I fell into a pond. The fancy little bottles now hold my extra screws and stuff from IKEA furniture, so not a total loss I guess.

Wait, was it the kit itself or just user error though? I've had nothing but good results from the same brand @nguyen.morgan mentioned, so maybe the application matters more than the packaging.
