I finally compared my credit union's card to a big bank's and it wasn't even close

My local credit union's Visa gave me 2% cash back with no annual fee, while the Chase card I had was charging me $95 a year for the same rate. Has anyone else switched from a big bank and seen a huge difference in fees?

Ditched my Bank of America card last year for the same reason, fees just eat away at rewards.

Switched from Wells Fargo last year. Their cash back card had a $95 fee and only 1.5%. My credit union gives me 2% plus zero annual fee. Saved $95 right off the bat.

Exactly! Same here. Closed my old Capitol One card that had a $99 fee for just 1.5% back. My credit union's free card gives me 2% on everything. Feels good not paying for rewards you barely earn back.
