Finally told a dad joke that got a laugh from my teenager

My 14 year old daughter hasn't cracked a smile at any of my jokes in like 3 years. Last week at dinner I said 'I'm reading a book on anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down.' She actually snorted milk out her nose. My wife gave me a high five. Anyone else hit that sweet spot where a joke finally lands?

Oh MAN this hits home. My daughter just turned 16 and it's like living with a grumpy cloud that occasionally shouts about how I'm ruining her life.
