Tried using that new AI scheduling tool for my shop and it double-booked three customers
I gave in and set up that popular AI calendar app for my small auto repair business on Gratiot last month. Within two days it had three customers showing up at the same time for inspections on a Monday morning. I wasted an hour sorting it out and now I'm back to using a paper logbook. Has anyone else had an AI tool just make a bigger mess for them?

Wait hold on, are you sure it was actually the AI that double-booked you and not maybe just a user error on your end? Because I've seen a lot of people jump into these tools without actually setting up the buffer times or the service durations properly (which is a super common mistake). What kind of inspection slots did you have it set for - was it like a blanket 30 minutes for everything or did you actually tell it that some jobs take an hour? I'm just asking because I almost made the same mistake and it would have been a disaster if I hadn't caught it.
