My old Wacom tablet finally gave out last week, replacement feels foreign
I had my Intuos 4 since 2016, drew over 40 commission pieces on it, and the USB port just quit on me at my desk in Portland. Picked up a new model on sale for $180, but the surface texture is slicker and the pen grip is thinner, so my line work feels off. It's like learning to handwrite again after 7 years of muscle memory. Has anyone else found a way to ease into a new tablet without losing their style?

Did you try taping a piece of paper over the surface?
