Unpopular opinion: procreate isn't always the best for complex landscapes

Honestly I was totally against CSP for years because everyone hyped Procreate so hard. But after trying to do a 30 layer mountain scene with mist effects on my iPad, Procreate kept crashing around layer 22. Clip Studio Paint handled it smooth as butter and the blending tools are way better for atmospheric stuff. Has anyone else hit a wall with Procreate on bigger projects?

Have you tried lowering the canvas resolution before adding layers? That fixed the crashing for me.

Started out a procreate fanboy myself but that layer limit got me too.
