Rushing decisions in any system creates more problems than it solves. Look at how quick bans on social media shut down real conversations before they even start. Even in my local town forum, people get suspended over misunderstandings because mods don't take time to check context. It's the same with customer service bots that auto-close tickets without reading the details. Slow, careful review actually saves time in the long run by getting things right the first time. We see this everywhere from online spaces to how businesses handle complaints.

Consider when slow review does more damage than fast action. What about cases where waiting hurts people, like safety reports or harassment that needs quick removal? Where do you draw the line between being careful and letting problems get worse while you deliberate?

Remember reading about a big platform's content moderators rushing through reports, and how it led to legit posts getting pulled while real abuse slipped through. That seems to back up the point about careful review. But @angelaw78 makes a fair case too, especially for clear threats. Maybe the real fix is having separate paths, a fast track for the obvious danger and a slower, human one for the gray areas. Getting it wrong either way breaks trust in the system.
