Hit 10,000 email subscribers last week and it felt like a different world
I launched a newsletter for my design tips back in January and barely cracked 200 for months. When I finally crossed 10K it made me realize how much consistency with small weekly posts really adds up. How many subscribers did it take before you felt like you had a real audience?

My cousin runs a small art account and it took her two years to hit 2k subs so seeing 10k in a few months sounds insane. I can only imagine how much work that took behind the scenes.

Oh wait, I think there's a tiny mix-up here! It wasn't me who hit 10k subs in a few months, that was someone else in the thread. I was just replying to say that kind of growth is wild. My own art account is more like your cousin's, took me about a year and a half to get past 1,000 followers and I'm still nowhere near 10k. I don't know how people pull off that kind of fast growth honestly, it feels like they have a secret sauce or something. Maybe they post at the perfect times or catch a lucky algorithm wave, who knows. Either way, your cousin's 2k in two years is actually pretty solid, that takes real dedication and consistency.
