Tried to do a video call from a rooftop in Medellin during a sudden downpour

My umbrella inverted, my laptop almost flew away, and my client just saw a blurry, screaming face for 45 seconds. Anyone have a go-to spot for reliable outdoor wifi that isn't a weather gamble?
