My cousin flat out told me my password vault was a joke after I admitted I reused the same one for 3 accounts

She showed me how her password manager auto-fills and generates random strings, and now I have 47 unique passwords and a backup phrase taped under my keyboard, has anyone else had a family member call them out like that?

Oh man, your cousin is a REAL one for that wake-up call! I had my brother catch me using "password123" on my banking app and I swear I wanted to hide under the couch.

Wait is your dad still using that password or did you finally get him to change it? My uncle had the same thing with "mypassword" for literally everything including his retirement account and we couldn't convince him to change it until his email got hacked and someone sent spam to all his coworkers. The worst part is when you try to help them set up a password manager and they just look at you like you're speaking a different language. I swear some people would rather risk getting their identity stolen than remember more than one password. At least your cousin caught you early before you got locked out of something important.
