Fixed a wobbly table leg with a chopstick and super glue
My dining table has had this annoying wobble for months. I was going to buy a pack of those rubber furniture pads, then saw a chopstick in my takeout drawer. I snapped it to the right height, dabbed super glue on both ends, and wedged it under the short leg. It's been rock solid for two weeks now. Has anyone else found a random kitchen item that saved a piece of furniture?

Wait, did you snip the chopstick first or jam it in there whole? I tried something similar with a wine cork once for a desk that had a leg about a half inch short, but the cork just kept squishing down after a few days. The super glue trick sounds smart though, did you glue it to the leg or just let it sit there?

Snip it first, @lily_torres31, obviously. Whole chopstick is just asking for trouble. Glued it right to the leg with super glue. Let it cure overnight. Hasn't budged in a year. Cork is too soft for that kind of weight, learn from your mistakes.

Yeah @karenb97 is right, snip it first or you'll mess up the whole thing.
