Honestly used to laugh at my grandad's old brush and soap mug. But trying that cheap safety razor he left me changed my whole view. That single blade gives a closer shave than my five-blade thing, and a $10 soap puck lasts forever. All the fancy gels in aerosol cans just seem like a waste now.

Wasn't the brush kinda weird at first? I tried my dad's old setup as a joke and expected my skin to freak out. But that lather was so much smoother than foam from a can, and my face didn't feel raw after. Totally get it now, the old way just works better.

Yeah that "face didn't feel raw" part is so true. I switched to a brush and soap a few years back after always getting razor burn. It just feels like it actually protects your skin instead of stripping it.
