The day a bride-to-be talked me into trying brow lamination
I used to think brow lamination was a total gimmick, like something that would just wear off in a week and leave people looking crazy. Last fall, a client came in for her wedding trial and she was dead set on it, even though I kept pushing my usual wax and tint combo. She sat in my chair for 20 minutes explaining how her natural brows are super unruly and she wanted that fluffy, brushed-up look for photos. I finally agreed to do it just to prove myself wrong, and I'll be honest, the results were pretty solid even after 6 weeks. That one interaction made me realize I was dismissing a technique without really understanding the need some clients have. Now I offer it as an option for anyone with thick or stubborn brows, and I've had way fewer complaints. Has anyone else here changed their mind on a service after a specific client pushed back?
