Hit 200 facials this month and something finally clicked about skin prep

I've been doing esthetics for about 10 years now. Last month I did my 200th facial and I realized I'd been rushing the prep step for years. I always thought the active products were doing the heavy lifting but I started paying closer attention to how long I was taking with the cleanse and the light exfoliation. My client's skin is looking way calmer and more even after their appointments now. Has anyone else noticed that taking an extra 5 minutes on prep changes the whole outcome?

My friend Rachel who does facials out of her house told me she started timing her prep with a stopwatch after she realized she was only spending like 90 seconds on it. She said her regulars started looking less red and more glowy, nothing fancy just clean and ready for products. She swears it fixed a lot of her breakout prone clients too.

Yes! I started timing my cleanses too and it really is a game changer.

Hit 2 minutes exactly and saw way less redness after.
