My grandpa swore the moon landing was faked, but then he dropped a detail I can't shake
I was visiting my grandpa last weekend and he started talking about the moon landing being a hoax, which I usually just brush off. He said his buddy who worked at a radio station in 1969 told him they got a weird signal delay that didn't match the official story. Has anyone here ever looked into transmission timing claims from that broadcast?

Whoa, that's wild. I mean, I can barely figure out how to get my WiFi router to work without calling my nephew, so I'm in no position to judge transmission timing from 1969. But now I'm kinda curious too because that's a really specific detail your grandpa's buddy would just make up for fun.

Wait, so was the signal actually bouncing off something or did they just get lucky with the timing?

HAHA, RIGHT? It reminds me of this old timer at my local diner who swears he saw a flying saucer back in '72. He'll tell you EVERY detail like the color of the sky and what he was eating for lunch that day. I always figured if someone's gonna make up a story, they'd at least keep it simple. So all those specific little details like a bounce off the atmosphere actually make me think the guy is telling the truth. Either that or he's been sitting on that story for FIFTY years and just really perfected his delivery.
