I was trying to design a jumpsuit for a friend's wedding and kept making the waistline sit weird. My friend, who's a tailor in Portland, finally looked at it and said, 'You're drafting for a standing figure, but she's going to be sitting and dancing.' It was a total lightbulb moment about designing for movement, not just a static pose.

My old work pants split once because they weren't cut for bending over.

Ever wonder why some pants just seem to fight you when you move? I used to just buy whatever was cheap for work, thinking it was all the same. Then I had a pair rip right at the seam when I crouched down, just like yours. That was so annoying it made me actually look for pants with a little stretch or a gusset in the crotch. Total game changer, I can actually do my job now without worrying about a wardrobe failure lol.
