That time I was dead wrong about paying for a gym trainer
I used to think personal trainers were a waste of money for basic stuff like form and motivation. Then after 6 months of zero progress on my bench press at Planet Fitness, I paid $200 for 4 sessions with a guy named Dave. He fixed my shoulder position in 10 minutes and I added 25 pounds to my lift the same week. Has anyone else had a trainer actually prove they were worth it?

A good trainer just cuts through all the useless advice floating around.

Man, a buddy of mine paid for a course that was literally all reposted Instagram clips.

Ugh THAT is SO frustrating. It's basically just content theft wrapped in a pretty sales page. I hate when people sell "courses" that are just a playlist of other people's stuff. You can literally find the same clips for free in ten minutes on YouTube. A real trainer would actually CREATE something original instead of scraping random reels.
