Took me two hours to find the fuse box in my own house
I needed to swap out a dead outlet in my kitchen last weekend, so I grabbed my flashlight and went to flip the breaker. I spent 45 minutes searching in the garage, the laundry room, even a closet before my neighbor told me it was behind a painting in the hallway. Has anyone else had a fuse box hiding in plain sight like that?
Behind a bookshelf for three years" - oh man, that reminds me of my buddy Mark. He lost his wallet once and found it six months later in an old winter coat pocket he never wore. He'd already replaced everything by then too, so it was just this weird time capsule of old receipts and a gift card that expired.
Drew, three years is wild but I gotta ask - what finally made you find it? Like were you moving furniture around or did you just randomly decide to pull the bookshelf out one day? I picture you just going about your business, dusting behind there maybe, and then bam there it is. Because that's the thing about lost stuff, it always shows up when you've already moved on and stopped looking for it. Did you even remember what you had lost at that point or was it a complete surprise?
