What brand was the tablet? I've had a couple of those off-brand ones that claim ten hours but can't even last through a movie.

Totally get that, @smith.nancy. My old off-brand tablet was the same way, always dying at the worst times. Switching to a refurbished model from a main brand was a game changer for battery life. It actually lasts as long as the box says it will.

It was one of those cheap ones from a random online store. The battery life was a total lie from the start. It would die halfway through a show even when it was fully charged. Those ads make them sound way better than they actually are. You get what you pay for, I guess. I should have just saved up for a known brand.
