PSA: My old phone's battery life went from 3 hours to a full day after I turned off one setting I didn't need.

So which specific setting was it, and was it buried in the general settings or inside each app? Always curious about the exact fix.

Honestly I used to think it was fine to leave all location stuff on, but turning off background app refresh for most things really changed my mind. Ngl it's wild how much that one toggle actually helps.

Probably location services. That stuff runs in the background constantly. Turning it off for apps that don't really need it makes a huge difference. My maps app needs it, but my calculator sure doesn't.
