Vent: My yoga routine collided with a pork shoulder in the worst way

I started doing morning yoga to ease back pain from cutting all day. Yesterday, I was so relaxed I misjudged the force needed on a cleaver and sent a pork shoulder flying across the room! It landed right in the sink full of sanitizer water, and my boss thought I was practicing some new butchering technique. Now I'm known as the 'zen butcher' who can't keep meat on the block.

That's not sanitizer, it's a sanitary solution.

Actually, sanitizer usually refers to hand sanitizer specifically, but sanitary solution is more accurate for broader applications! That distinction really does matter in professional settings.

Consider how often we blur the lines between colloquial and technical terms, @jademitchell. Your point highlights a crucial distinction that can affect understanding in practical scenarios, like public health. Sanitary solutions often imply a broader range of applications beyond just hand sanitizers, which are specifically formulated for skin. This precision in language helps prevent misunderstandings when discussing safety protocols. We should all strive for such clarity in our daily communications.
