Hit 500,000 miles on my delivery route last Tuesday, never thought I'd see that number on an odometer
Started out driving for a rare parts finder service back in '98 (you know, hunting down obscure carburetors and trim pieces for classic cars), and the mileage just crept up on me over 26 years. It's not a normal job by any means, but has anyone else here hit a weird milestone that made you stop and think about how much road you've actually covered?

Sounds like you just drove a lot, not exactly a life-altering achievement.

@the_olivia, I have to push back a little on that. Drove a lot is an understatement when you're talking about logging 10,000 miles in a month across 15 states for a cancer fundraiser. I watched a friend do something similar and the planning alone took weeks, not to mention the toll it takes on your body and your vehicle. Maybe it's not climbing Everest, but it's still something most people wouldn't have the stamina or dedication to pull off.

Guess it's just not as impressive when you're not doing it for internet clout.
