PSA: stop believing those 'toothbrush sanitizer' gadgets are worth $30
Overheard a guy at the dental supply store last Tuesday claiming UV light kills 99.9% of germs on your brush, but my hygienist training says your brush dries faster and cleaner just sitting in a cup with open air, so why are we buying into plastic boxes that waste batteries and probably just break after 6 months?

Right? My toothbrush spends more time in a Ziploc bag when I travel than any sanitizer could handle anyway lol. Bought one of those gadgets as a gift once and it felt like wrapping up a lie with a shiny bow. Air drying is free and doesn't need batteries that die at 3am.

Wait, is it really THAT deep? @jamie_adams sounds like he’s been personally betrayed by a toothbrush cap or something. Cat knocked it off, air drying works fine, not exactly a crisis.
