My chin implant recovery took way longer than my surgeon said
He told me I'd be back to normal in 10 days but it was a full 6 weeks before I could chew solid food without pain. Has anyone else had a recovery time way off from what the doctor estimated?

Yeah, "10 days" and "back to normal" are two phrases that definitely don't belong together in the same sentence.

Yeah "back to normal" is a fantasy, I haven't been normal since 2019.

Man I feel this in my bones. My sister just went through it and she's on day 14 still coughing like crazy. The whole "10 days" thing feels like someone just picked a random number out of a hat honestly lol. I have friends who were feeling rough for almost a month after testing negative. It's wild how everyone's body handles it so different too, some people bounce back in a week and others are wiped for way longer. Definitely not a one size fits all situation.
