Tried the expensive BA clinic vs the budget one and wow what a difference

I went to a fancy place in Austin first for my breast aug consult and they quoted me $12,000. Then I checked out this smaller clinic in San Antonio that did it for $7,500. The cheaper one rushed me through everything and I felt like just a number. The expensive one spent an hour explaining implant profiles and even showed me 3D simulations. Recovery was way smoother with the better team too. Has anyone else seen a big gap between high end and discount places?

Yeah big difference right there. The price gap usually reflects how much time they put into you. When a place charges half, they're running a volume game, not a quality game. You get what you pay for with consultations, recovery support, and the actual attention to detail during surgery. Cheaper places cut corners on stuff like anesthesiologist fees or post op monitoring. Personally I wouldn't trust a $7,500 augmentation, that's way too low for the cost of supplies and a good surgeon's time. Glad you went with the pricier one, your body isn't a place to save a few grand.

You're spot on about the volume game. I had a similar situation when I was looking into getting my knees checked out after a work injury. The cheap place rushed me through in fifteen minutes and basically said "rest and ice." I went to a more expensive specialist and they actually did x-rays, spent an hour with me, and found a torn meniscus. Same thing with my wife's dental work - the budget dentist wanted to pull teeth, the pricier one saved them with root canals. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, especially when it comes to your health.

Oh man, totally feel you on this one. I once paid extra for a fancy haircut and still came out looking like I lost a fight with a lawnmower, so maybe I'm the wrong person to ask about value. But honestly, when it comes to anything involving scalpels and your body, I'd rather overpay than feel like I'm on a conveyor belt. I'd trust a $12,000 boob job over a discounted one any day, my luck I'd end up with one pointing north and the other looking for buried treasure.
