Spent 2 hours chasing a coolant leak that was just a loose clamp
Was prepping my Miata for a track day last Saturday and noticed a puddle under the front. Spent a full 2 hours checking hoses, pressure testing, even pulled the radiator. Turns out it was just the lower radiator hose clamp that I forgot to tighten after a flush last month. Whole thing took me 4 minutes to fix once I actually looked. Anyone else waste a whole afternoon on something this dumb?

Lol, honestly I'd argue those 2 hours weren't wasted at all. You probably found a few loose bolts or learned something poking around in there that'll save your engine later. Sometimes the dumbest hunts are the best practice for when a real problem shows up.
