Put two zinc-air batteries side by side and the difference was scary

Tested a cheap no-name brand against a Duracell in my hearing aid last month and the generic died in 3 days while the Duracell is still going after 2 weeks. Has anyone else found a big quality gap like this with these batteries?

How much of a difference in price are we talking about between the cheap ones and the Duracell where you live? Because if it's only like a dollar or two per pack, then you're basically paying pennies to get weeks more life out of your hearing aid. I just wonder if people who buy the generics are actually calculating the cost per day of use, not just the upfront price tag. The cheap batteries also seem to leak more often too, which can ruin the hearing aid itself. So is saving a buck really worth the risk of needing to buy a whole new device?

Tbh that tracks with my experience too. The cheap ones just don't hold up at all, especially in a hearing aid where you're drawing power all day. Stick with the name brands or buy in bulk from a reputable seller online, it's worth the few extra bucks.
