Wasted $200 on a bedliner spray that peeled off after 3 months in the Texas heat
I went to this place in San Antonio that claimed their spray-on liner was 'industrial grade.' Buddy of mine had his done there and it held up fine, but mine started peeling near the tailgate after like 6 weeks. By month 3 I could pull big strips off with my bare hands. Took it back and the guy blamed it on 'improper surface prep' but wouldn't refund me. Shoulda just stuck with a drop-in liner from the start. Anyone else had bad luck with a particular brand of spray-on liner?

Industrial grade" and "peels off in Texas heat" don't belong in the same sentence my guy. @phoenix_lewis nailed it, that prep excuse is just them trying to dodge the bill for their garbage work.

Texas heat absolutely destroys those cheap spray-on liners. That prep excuse is the oldest scam in the book, they just don't want to stand behind their shoddy work. A real industrial liner should laugh at 100 degree days without peeling. Drop-in liners might rattle but at least they don't flake off and leave your bed bare. Sounds like you got the budget brand treatment from a shop that cuts every corner.
