I swore off this lakeside town after childhood trips, but autumn proved me wrong
I used to hate going to Lake Serenity cuz it felt so crowded and commercial from summer visits as a kid. But I went back last month in the off season and wow, it was like a different place. The trails were empty, the leaves were changing, and I found this tiny family run cafe with amazing pie. It totally changed my mind about it being a tourist trap. Now I think it's a hidden gem if you time it right.
