That $25 silicone air fryer liner I bought off Amazon was a total game changer

I was scrubbing the basket every single night after making chicken wings, and it was driving me crazy. Picked up a pack of three liners for 25 bucks last month and now cleanup takes like 10 seconds. Has anyone else tried these things or am I late to the party?

I bought a pack of three from a brand called ChefSofi last year and they were a lifesaver for my salmon nights. My only tip is to avoid putting them in the dishwasher because the silicone can get weirdly sticky after a few cycles. Hand wash with a little dish soap and they hold up way better. Also make sure you don't overload the basket or the liner can slide around and stuff won't crisp right. But yeah, you're not late, I think a lot of people still haven't discovered them.

I mean hand washing them is a pain but totally worth it since they last way longer that way.

I have to disagree with the whole "game changer" thing. I bought a pack of those silicone liners and they just made my chicken wings soggy and took forever to cook because the liner blocked the air flow. The liner slid around every time I shook the basket, and in the end I was cleaning both the liner and the basket because grease still leaked through the holes. Hand washing the liner after every use is basically just as much work as scrubbing the basket itself, so I don't see the time savings. You're basically adding an extra step for no real benefit. I tossed mine after a week and went back to just spraying the basket with cooking spray.
