Warning: I flat out refuse to install used control boards from shady suppliers.

A guy offered me a deal that would have doubled my profit. I said no, and he hasn't called back since.

Had a supplier try that with me last year. I just said no and stuck with my usual parts, even though the money looked good. It saved me a bunch of headaches later from things that would have broken down. My rule is if a deal seems too good, it usually is. I don't miss those calls one bit.

Sounds a bit dramatic. Stuff breaks anyway.

Learned that lesson the hard way myself. My cheap fix lasted about a week before it blew up. Now I just buy the good stuff and save the drama.

The last time I cheaped out on parts it cost me more in returns.
