Someone told me my star trails were just messy and they were right
I used to think stacking 50 shots for trails was fine, but a guy on here said my lines looked like spaghetti. I cut it to 25 shots and the trails are way cleaner now. Anyone else get told their stacking was off?

Funny how that works in a lot of areas, not just photos. More stuff doesn't always mean a better result. It's like adding too many ingredients to a soup and the flavors just get lost. Finding that sweet spot is the real trick, and sometimes you need someone else to point out the mess.

Totally get it. Happened with my moon shots. Stacked too many, got a blurry mess. Less frames actually showed more detail. That outside eye helps spot what you miss.
