Oh, the classic "trust but verify" method where sales has to do the verifying... because the system sure isn't. That's not a data sync, that's a trust fall where the tech team just walks away. 3 different tools we use at our shop and every single one has some kind of data that the other two claim never existed. Spent 15 minutes yesterday trying to figure out why the inventory count for oak planks showed 47 in one system and 127 in the other. Turns out somebody typed a 1 instead of a 4 and nobody caught it for a week because we're all too busy babysitting the apps instead of, you know, working lol.
