Oh man, "bad dubs making it better" is a whole mood. I caught a cheap kung fu flick from the 70s called 'Fists of Fury II' on some late night channel last week. The voice acting was so flat and off, like they recorded it in a closet. It turned a so-so fight scene into a comedy goldmine. Honestly, I was laughing way harder than the movie deserved.

Wait, are you sure it was called "Fists of Fury II"? That's actually the American title for "The Chinese Connection" from 1972, not a 70s flick. Bruce Lee's original "Fists of Fury" is actually "The Big Boss" here in the States, so the numbering gets REALLY confusing.

Sat through one of those late night kung fu marathons with a buddy once and we stumbled onto a dubbed version of something called "Shaolin vs Ninja." The voice acting was so bad it became a drinking game. Every time the lips didnt match the words we took a sip. By the end of the movie we were absolutely wrecked but we were also quoting that terrible dialogue for weeks. It was like the movie was made better by how wrong it was. The flat delivery made every dramatic line sound like a threat or a joke at the same time.
