That's wild... I actually found the last third of the book to be the most rewarding part. All that chaos in Vegas had to lead somewhere, and the ending tied it together for me in a way that felt earned.

Disagree hard on that ending. Felt like the Vegas stuff was just a bunch of random scenes that never really connected. The final act rushed to tie a bow on everything with a speech that came out of nowhere.

Totally with you @samk77! The Vegas part felt like a whole different book got shoved in the middle. It was so jarring after the slow build up earlier. That final speech really did come from left field and just tried to fix everything too fast. Made the whole last section feel messy and unearned to me too.
