Finally nailed my weekly spread after 3 messy weeks...

My stupidly small grid dots made everything look crooked until I switched to a 5mm dot grid notebook last Thursday. Finally got a clean layout for my habit tracker without it looking like a toddler drew it. Anyone else struggle with weird dot spacing in their journal?

5mm is literally the only way to go. I fought with a 3.7mm grid for months because it looked cute in the shop and ended up wasting so much paper ripping pages out. Finally switched to a 5mm Leuchtturm and my weekly spreads actually have straight lines now. The habit tracker alone went from looking like a seismograph reading to something I can actually show people without apologizing.

I mean, the "toddler drew it" part got me because same. I actually watched a YouTube video from some bullet journal nerd who said grid spacing can mess with your whole brain if it's not consistent. I've been using a 5mm for like a year now and it's way easier to keep things straight. The smaller dots just make everything look wobbly no matter how careful you are. Maybe it's just me but I feel like 5mm is the sweet spot for habit trackers too.

Actually, most Leuchtturms are 5mm grid. If you had a 3.7mm one, it was probably a different brand like Dingbats or Scribbles That Matter.
