The time a client told me my blueprints looked like a toddler drawn them
A guy building a small warehouse in Phoenix told me my floor plan was confusing. He said, 'This looks like my kid's art project.' I stepped back and saw he was right because I used too many dashed lines for the electrical runs. Now I print out a rough version and walk through it with clients before going digital. Has anyone else had a client call out their work in a way that actually helped?

@gavin365 that hand sketch thing changed my mind too, used to think it was a waste of time.

Buddy of mine is an architect and a client told him his site plan looked like a spilled bag of Scrabble tiles. He started doing hand sketches at the first meeting and it saved him a ton of redos.

Did the hand sketches actually make the clients trust his design process more, or did it just cut down on the revision time?
