My mom won't stop sharing family photos online
She doesn't care that I want my kids' faces off social media. How do I get her to respect our privacy without starting a fight?

Ever check if her own profile is public? Might make her think twice if she sees her own info is exposed too.

Man, I was totally your mom a few years back. I posted every cute kid pic without a thought. What changed for me was realizing it wasn't my story to share, you know? It's their childhood, and they should get to decide what's out there when they're older. Like, I posted a photo that showed our street sign and my kid's school shirt - stuff I shouldn't have put out for anyone to see. @patricia262 has a point about checking her profile settings, because seeing my own stuff was so public freaked me out. It just hit me that I was building their digital footprint without their okay, and that's not fair.
