Found a 'sugar free' candy bar at the airport that was basically a laxative

Grabbed a snack at the Denver airport. Label said 'sugar free' in big letters. Ate the whole thing on the flight. Spent the next 3 hours in the tiny airplane bathroom. Turns out the sweetener was maltitol. Anyone else get tricked by that ingredient?

Tbh that stuff should come with a warning label. Learned the hard way with sugar free gummy bears once.
