Appreciation post: My dad reusing jars showed me our different views on waste
I always thought my dad was just cheap for saving every container. But it's a Boomer habit from when stuff wasn't thrown away so easy. My Gen Z friends buy new eco-friendly things instead, which feels kinda ironic.

Ugh, my grandma did the exact same thing @blake792. I mean, we finally had to just sort through them all one visit. We kept like three good ones for actual leftovers and recycled the rest. It felt a little bad, but she honestly didn't even notice the missing ones. The drawer actually shuts now. Maybe try that next time you're over?
