Six months of searching for hidden cash finally paid off at a park bench
I've been doing this hidden cash thing for like three years now on and off, mostly just finding crumpled dollar bills or the occasional Starbucks gift card with like a buck left. But last Tuesday I was walking through that little park near Oak and 5th, the one with the duck pond, and I saw a corner of a ziploc bag poking out from under a bench. I almost didn't bother because it looked like trash, but I pulled it out and there was a crisp $50 bill inside with a note that just said 'keep looking up'. $50 is the biggest single find I've ever had and it's got me hooked all over again. Has anyone else stumbled on a bigger amount like that just sitting out in plain sight?

Glad to hear you finally scored big after all that searching. I know exactly what you mean about that feeling when you find something that's actually worth the effort. For me it was a $20 bill tucked under a flower pot on a cafe patio and I still remember how pumped I was. The note thing makes it even cooler, like some stranger is watching out for you. Keep at it man, you never know what might turn up next.

Found a $100 bill once just floating in a gutter after a rainstorm.

@jakewhite is right about that feeling. After I found a twenty in a parking lot once, I started scanning the ground anytime I'd walk into a store. It's never dramatic or anything, just that little pop of luck.
